Funding

  • DWSRF funding requires asset management.

Assistance

  • Annual training focused on the five core components of asset management is available to systems. Asset management is included in operator certification training.
  • A free AM software tool, along with training, is available to systems. The state’s annual report publishes trends in asset management plan development.
  • Annual technical assistance contracts are made with the Oklahoma Department of Environmental Quality. The Oklahoma Water Resources Board has asset management specific contracts.
  • The Capacity Development Baseline Project surveys all water systems serving 10,000 or fewer once every three years, including asset management plans.
